Sir Francis Bacon

I think we’ve pretty well established that you can never have enough bacon on this here blog. And the boundless possibilities seem to continue to be neverending – like this here Sir Francis Bacon Chocolate Peanut Brittle. It’s made from artisan smoked bacon and home-grown, USA peanuts. It’s a perfect time to try some out, too. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so why not get a 2fer and buy some for your loved one…and then eat it all. Sounds my ideal kind of holiday!

Bittersweets

Candy hearts are a sorry excuse for candy. But the sentiments on them are adorable which is, I suppose, what makes them acceptable for Valentine’s Day. But given my cynical and sarcastic nature, they are far too adorable and I much prefer a more realistic sentiment.
These Bittersweets are just that. They are “The Valentine’s Candy for the Rest of Us.” They come in three unique collections – Dejected, Dysfunctional, and Dumped – each with up to 37 unique sayings! And with sayings like “U LEFT SEATUP” and “I WANT HALF”, they are a perfect gift for the Valentine’s Day hater in your life. Or anyone with a sense of humor, really.
